CyberPower OR1000ERM1U

The CyberPower OR1000ERM1U UPS uses Line-interactive topology, providing an apparent power of 1000VA and a real power of 600W to supply servers, workstations, and network components. The simulated sine wave output is designed for devices with standard switched-mode power supplies. Thanks to its compact 1U height and dimensions of 44×433×389mm, this Line-interactive UPS integrates easily into standard rack cabinets. The clear LCD display shows key operating parameters in real time. At full load, it powers connected devices for 3.5 minutes, while at half load, the backup time extends to 14 minutes, giving you plenty of time to safely shut down operations.

Performance and stability

The unit uses line-interactive topology with an automatic voltage regulation function. This technology actively stabilises fluctuating input voltage without switching to battery power, preserving battery capacity for a complete outage. With an apparent power of 1000VA and a real power of 600W, it provides a sufficient buffer to protect office computers and small servers. The simulated sine wave output voltage is compatible with most modern switched-mode power supplies in IT equipment.

Battery and backup time

The internal battery module is easy to maintain. The user can hot-swap it, which eliminates the need to shut down protected systems during servicing. The time required to fully recharge the battery from a discharged state is 8 hours. At 100% load of 600W, the unit supplies power for 3.5 minutes. At a half load of 300W, the backup time extends to 14 minutes, which is enough time to save work in progress and perform a controlled shutdown of connected devices.

Protective features

The UPS integrates a set of protective features for comprehensive protection of connected electronics. Surge protection with an absorption capacity of 810J protects hardware from damage caused by voltage spikes. An integrated EMI and RFI filter suppresses electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. The protection also extends to data lines, thanks to separate RJ-45 ports for the Ethernet network and RJ-11 for the telephone line. These ports prevent surges from penetrating through data cables.

Connectivity and sockets

Six IEC C13 output sockets are available on the rear panel. Four of them are fully battery-backed and surge-protected, intended for critical devices. The remaining two sockets provide surge protection only. For communication with a computer, there is a USB port with HID protocol support and a serial port. An expansion slot for an optional SNMP/HTTP card is included for advanced management in a network environment.
