They are equipped with MEMS microphones featuring AI noise cancellation, which recognise and isolate your voice, whilst effectively filtering out background noise. Your communication with colleagues or customers will therefore always be perfectly clear and intelligible. The microphones operate in the 100 Hz to 8 kHz range, which precisely covers the human voice spectrum and optimises speech transmission quality.

Adaptive noise cancellation with transparent mode

The Dell Pro Plus EB525 features Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology, which automatically adjusts the noise-cancelling level in real time depending on your current environment. The headphones effectively filter out sounds such as the air conditioning in the room or the noise of passing cars on the street. There’s also an improved transparency mode, which lets ambient voices through so you can communicate with colleagues without taking the headphones out of your ears. You can switch between noise cancellation and enhanced awareness using the touch controls on the headphones or via the app.

Comfortable headphones with touch controls

Touch controls directly on the earbuds allow you to switch comfortably between adaptive ANC and transparency mode, adjust the volume, skip tracks or answer calls with a simple tap. The touch-sensitive areas are easily identifiable by a small indentation, which helps you quickly find the right spot. The pack includes four sizes of ear tips (XS, S, M, L), which are designed to effectively block out ambient noise and remain comfortable even during prolonged use. The Dell Pro Plus EB525 are water- and dust-resistant to IP54 standard.

Easy connection via Bluetooth or a dongle

The Dell Pro Plus EB525 headphones feature Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity with Multipoint functionality, meaning they can be paired with up to two devices at the same time, such as a phone and a laptop. The headphones will then automatically switch between audio sources as required. For example, an incoming call on your smartphone will automatically pause music playback on your laptop. A wireless audio receiver (dongle), hidden inside the charging case, enables you to connect the headphones instantly without using Bluetooth. Simply remove it and plug it into the USB-C port on your laptop or computer. The headphones will connect to the device immediately, without the need for Bluetooth pairing.

The EB525 headphones can be controlled via a mobile phone or a computer

The Dell Audio app, available for Android and iOS, allows you to easily manage and configure your Dell Pro Plus EB525 headphones. Using the app, you can easily customise the ANC function, switch between modes for work calls and listening to music, or locate your earbuds using the ‘Find My Earbuds’ feature. You can also use the Dell Display and Peripheral Manager software tool for PCs, which allows you to fine-tune the sound using an equaliser, including the option to select preset sound modes (speech, bass boost, treble boost). You can also use the web interface to adjust the earbuds’ settings for calls and multimedia, and to download firmware updates. For IT specialists, the Dell Device Management Console is available.

The Dell Pro Plus EB525 offers up to 33 hours of playback

The Dell Pro Plus EB525 wireless earphones can play continuously for up to 8 hours on a single charge (with ANC switched on), whilst the charging case extends their battery life to up to 33 hours. When making calls with adaptive noise cancellation, the headphones last for 5 hours, or up to 16.5 hours with the case. Thanks to fast-charging support, just 5 minutes is enough to provide enough power for up to 1 hour of playback. The earphones are charged in the case using a USB-C cable, or by placing the case on a wireless charger.
