The Eaton 3S 550 DIN Gen2 USB backup power supply uses off-line topology and provides an apparent power of 550VA and a real power of 330W to power computers and sensitive electronics. At full load, it keeps connected devices running for 1.33 minutes; at half load, the backup time extends to 6.5 minutes. The surge protection complies with the IEC standard and protects your electronics from damage caused by voltage spikes.

Connectivity and sockets
The Eaton 3S 550 DIN Gen2 USB backup power supply offers six Schuko (F) sockets for connecting appliances. The sockets are divided into two groups. Three of them provide full battery backup and surge protection, making them ideal for critical devices such as a computer, monitor or external data storage. The remaining three sockets provide surge protection only and are used for connecting peripherals that do not require battery backup, such as printers, scanners or speakers. The power supply connects to the mains via an integrated 1.5-metre cable with a Schuko (DIN) plug.
