This compact 1U rack solution provides reliable power protection for server and network equipment. The integrated Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) stabilises mains fluctuations without switching to the battery. While maintaining quiet operation at under 35dB, it keeps connected devices running at full load for 3.2 minutes; at half load, this time extends to 12.5 minutes. The source uses Line-interactive topology, which corrects mains fluctuations using Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) without switching to battery power. The unit supplies an apparent power of 1150VA and a true power of 920W. Its high operating efficiency of up to 98.2% helps reduce energy consumption and heat loss. The backup time at full load is 192 minutes, and at half load, it is 750 minutes.

Battery and protection
Inside the EATON UPS 5P 1150iR Gen2 UPS, you will find lead-acid batteries that are hot-swappable by the user. The ABM+ battery management technology extends battery life by up to 50% and includes predictive maintenance, automatic testing and deep-discharge protection. The cold start function starts the UPS directly from the battery without mains power. The UPS does not support expansion with external battery modules.
Management and software
For management and status monitoring, the EATON UPS 5P 1150iR Gen2 UPS uses a USB (HID compatible) communication interface and an RS-232 serial port. The unit also includes a slot for an optional communication card, such as the Network-M3 network card. The Eaton Brightlayer software suite is included to manage the safe shutdown of systems during a prolonged power outage. A mini terminal block supports remote on and off.
Connectivity and outlets
The IEC C14 input connector connects the EATON UPS 5P 1150iR Gen2 UPS to the mains supply. For powering appliances, it offers six IEC C13 output sockets, which you can divide into two controlled segments. This division optimises backup time for critical equipment.
