The Eaton 9SX 1000VA rack 2U uninterruptible power supply (UPS) provides continuous power protection with its on-line double-conversion topology. This rackmount UPS is designed for servers and network components, delivering a stable power supply with a real power output of 900W and an apparent power of 1000VA. Thanks to its high output power factor of 0.9, it efficiently powers modern IT equipment. The on-line UPS constantly monitors and regulates the power supply, protecting critical infrastructure from outages, undervoltage, overvoltage, and frequency deviations. Its pure sine wave output is also suitable for sensitive electronics. The Eaton 9SX UPS uses an on-line double-conversion topology. This technology continuously filters and stabilises the power supply, as the current passes through two conversion stages without any switching time. This effectively isolates connected devices from all mains disturbances, including undervoltage, overvoltage, and frequency deviations. The output voltage is precisely regulated with a tolerance of ±2% and distortion does not exceed 3%.

A multilingual graphical LCD display provides clear control and monitoring, showing the UPS status, measured values, and event history. The battery management uses ABM technology with temperature-compensated charging to extend battery life. The system also supports hot-swapping of both internal and external battery modules (EBMs), which minimises downtime. With a noise level below 41dB at a distance of one metre, it won't disturb your working environment. For centralised management, use the Eaton Intelligent Power Manager and Intelligent Power Protector software tools. These applications integrate the UPS into virtualisation platforms and control automated actions, such as a gradual system shutdown during a prolonged power outage. The rear panel offers six IEC C13 output sockets for powering servers and network components. For communication and management, there are USB and RS-232 ports, supplemented by RJ-45 data network protection. A vacant slot for installing an expansion communication card, for example for network management, offers further integration options.
