Image and display technology
The 3LCD imaging technology produces an image with a native resolution of 1920×1200 WUXGA at a 16:10 aspect ratio. The system displays equally high white and colour light output, which eliminates the rainbow effect and delivers vivid colours. A brightness of 8000 ANSI lumens, together with a dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, contributes to a clear and detailed projection even in rooms that aren't blacked out. The projector supports HDR content and can create a scalable image with a screen size from 50" to 500" (from 127cm to 1270cm).
Light source and lifespan of the Epson EB-L895U projector
The laser light source eliminates the need for lamp replacement and reduces running costs. Its lifespan is 20000 hours in standard mode, extending to 30000 hours of operation in eco mode. Maintenance-free operation contributes to the long-term functionality of the device. The cooling noise in eco mode drops to 26dB from the usual 36dB, which limits distractions during presentations. The total power consumption of the device during full operation is 450W.
Projection and installation
This short-throw projector projects an image from a distance of 1.4m to 23.84m. Image adjustment is made easy by the 1.6× optical zoom, manual keystone correction (both vertically and horizontally within a ±30° range) and the Quick Corner function for fast corner alignment. A manual lens shift of ±50% vertically and ±20% horizontally provides great flexibility for placement. The projector can be installed on the ceiling, placed on a table or positioned freely in the room.
Connectivity options
The projector offers a wide range of options for connecting signal sources. For digital image and sound transmission, there are two HDMI ports with HDCP 2.3 support, as well as an HDBaseT connector for long-distance transmission over a single cable. There are also two USB 2.0-A ports, a USB-B service port, and RS-232C and Ethernet interfaces for network control and management. Wireless content sharing from mobile devices and computers is handled by the integrated WiFi with support for AirPlay and Miracast. Audio output is provided via a 3.5mm audio jack.
