FIFINE TAM8 White

FIFINE TAM8 White
The FIFINE TAM8 White microphone set combines a dynamic microphone with a cardioid directional pattern and an adjustable desk boom arm. The microphone offers both USB-C and XLR connections, so you can use it directly with your computer or plug it into an external audio interface or mixing console. The cardioid capsule focuses primarily on the voice coming from the front and reduces unwanted noise from the sides and rear. Sound capture and directional pattern
The FIFINE TAM8 dynamic microphone uses a cardioid directional pattern, which focuses primarily on sound coming from the front. The capsule helps to reduce unwanted noises coming from the sides and rear, such as keyboard sounds or ambient noise. Its frequency range of 50 to 16000Hz is ideal for capturing the spoken word during gaming, streaming, podcasting or other content creation. The maximum sound pressure level is 120dB SPL and the signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 80dB.
Ambient noise suppression
The dynamic construction and cardioid directional pattern help the microphone focus on the voice in its immediate vicinity and reduce distant noises. The foam pop filter reduces the air blasts created when pronouncing plosive sounds and contributes to a cleaner recording. The adjustable arm also allows you to place the microphone closer to your mouth, which helps achieve a more prominent voice without unnecessarily amplifying surrounding sounds.
Connection via USB-C and XLR
The microphone offers a digital connection via USB-C and an analogue XLR output. USB mode provides quick Plug-and-Play operation with a compatible computer or games console. The XLR connector is used to connect to an external audio interface or mixing console, enabling you to integrate the microphone into a more advanced recording setup. The XLR cable is not included in the package.
Controls directly on the microphone
When using the USB connection, important controls are available directly on the microphone body. A touch-sensitive mute button provides instant muting, and an LED indicator clearly shows the microphone's current status. A separate rotary dial is used to adjust the gain, and a second one controls the volume of the connected headphones. With a standalone XLR connection, these functions are controlled via the connected audio interface or mixing console.
Real-time audio monitoring
When using the USB connection, you can connect headphones to the microphone via the 3.5mm jack and listen to the captured sound in real time. Direct, zero-latency monitoring lets you instantly check your voice during recording, streaming or communication. The headphone volume can be adjusted using a separate rotary dial on the microphone body.
RGB backlighting to match your style
The lower part of the microphone features adjustable RGB backlighting. A dedicated button lets you switch between three lighting modes and eight static colours, giving you a total of ten different lighting options. The selection includes a static single-colour option, a gradient effect and a dynamic multi-colour mode. The backlighting can also be turned off completely. The RGB functions are available when using the USB connection.
Adjustable microphone boom arm
The set includes an adjustable boom arm that allows you to comfortably bring the microphone closer to your mouth or move it out of your workspace. The individual joints offer a wide range of rotation and tilt, so you can adjust the microphone to a suitable angle for gaming, streaming and recording. The horizontal part of the arm measures approximately 29.5cm and the vertical part approximately 33cm.
Flexible, multi-directional adjustment
The arm's design offers great flexibility for positioning. The base rotates 360°, other joints offer a range of up to 200°, and the top mount can be adjusted up to 180°. This makes it easy to adjust the microphone to your position and desk setup, and when you're finished, you can simply push the arm aside.
Concealed cable routing
The arm features an integrated channel for cable management. This lets you run the cable along the arm without any loose, dangling loops, helping to keep your desk tidier and more organised. At the same time, the cable remains easily accessible when you need to change the microphone's position or disconnect it.
Stable desk mounting
The arm attaches to your work surface with a robust desk clamp. The design is intended for standard desks and provides a secure grip without needing to drill into the desktop. The wide contact area helps keep the arm stable, even with frequent repositioning of the microphone.
Compatibility by connection type
Via USB, the microphone can be used with computers and laptops, as well as PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games consoles. For an XLR connection, you can use a compatible audio interface or mixing desk. USB operation is not intended for Xbox consoles.

Microphone type
A dynamic microphone is suitable for open performances, live broadcasts, music production, etc. It uses a magnet and a moving coil to capture sound.
A condenser microphone is mainly used for studio purposes. It has higher sensitivity and lower noise. It requires a separate power supply.
Frequency range
The frequency range indicates the range of frequencies that the microphone records. The wider the range, the more sounds it can capture.
Low frequencies (e.g., 20–200Hz): Bass, the deepest notes of instruments (double bass, kick drum) and male voices.
Mid-frequencies (e.g., 200–3000Hz): The body of instruments, the foundation of the voice where the ear is most sensitive, important for speech clarity.
High frequencies (e.g., 3000–14000Hz): Treble, details, sibilance, and the "sparkle" of the sound.
Air band (above 14000Hz): Gives recordings a sense of expensive, super-high-quality sound and space.
Sensitivity
Microphone sensitivity is the ratio of output voltage to acoustic pressure. It expresses how loud a signal the microphone produces at a given acoustic pressure; higher sensitivity means a stronger voltage and is suitable for quiet studios, while lower sensitivity is better for noisy environments because it amplifies less unwanted ambient noise.
