Sharpening with the G21 Corundum Stone is Easy

Before sharpening, immerse the G21 1000/6000 whetstone in water. Secure the knife by the back of the blade into the guide and slide it over the stone in a smooth motion with gentle pressure. For honing or finer sharpening, turn the sharpener over to the finer side and repeat the smooth motion to remove any imperfections.
