HD Video Resolution

HD video resolution refers to a recording with dimensions of 1280 × 720 pixels. These points, also known as pixels, are miniature squares that make up the entire image. HD, short for High Definition, provides a basic level of detail sufficient for capturing the overall traffic situation. However, reading details such as vehicle license plates may be more difficult, especially in poorer lighting conditions or from a greater distance. Compared to the lower, older SD standard, it offers a noticeably sharper image but does not achieve the quality of higher resolutions, such as Full HD.
