An instant camera is a type of camera that, after pressing the shutter button, produces a finished physical photograph within minutes. It does not use a digital sensor, but a special film that contains all the necessary chemicals for image development. After taking the shot, the camera ejects a paper on which the image gradually appears by itself. This process is called instant photography. Each photograph is therefore an original that cannot be easily copied, and the images often have a characteristic appearance with typical color rendition and contrast. For operation, film cartridges designed for the specific camera model must be used.
