The Grandstream GWN7062E Wi-Fi router is designed to provide high-performance wireless connectivity in homes and small businesses. The device uses the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard and operates in dual-band mode, allowing efficient operation in both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands simultaneously. The router delivers up to 3,000 Mbps of total Wi-Fi bandwidth, providing ample capacity for demanding network activities. Advanced technologies and network management
To optimize data flow, the router is equipped with MU-MIMO, which effectively communicates with multiple connected clients at the same time. Reliability is further enhanced by Quality of Service (QoS) and Smart Connect, which automatically routes devices to the most appropriate bandwidth available for maximum performance. Signal propagation is provided by three internal non-removable antennas. Network security is guaranteed by the WPA3 encryption standard, an integrated firewall and the ability to create an isolated network for visitors (Guest Zone). Management can be done via a cloud interface or an intuitive mobile app.
Connectivity and network equipment
On the back of the device, there are 3 LAN ports with 1 Gbps speed, which provide a stable wired connection for desktop computers or smart TVs. The router supports a range of network features including VPN for secure remote access, UPnP, DMZ and Port Forwarding. Within the DHCP server, options such as DHCP Client List and Address Reservation are available. In addition to the router itself, the package also includes a power adapter and an Ethernet cable.
