The HiLook NVR-116MH-C(E) network recorder stores and manages footage from connected security cameras in a desktop format. This system processes video from several sources simultaneously and saves it to a hard drive for later analysis. The device supports continuous recording, audio recording and data backup. The compression formats used effectively reduce the load on the data storage on a hard drive with a capacity of up to 8TB. Users can watch the recordings on a connected monitor via the HDMI or VGA interface. Users can control the camera system remotely via the mobile app. P2P technology support simplifies connection without the need to set up a public IP address. The app sends mobile notifications directly to your phone if an incident is detected. The recorder also supports the control of PTZ cameras for active surveillance of a property.

Connect up to 16 cameras
This system supports the connection of up to 16 IP cameras simultaneously for monitoring a selected property from multiple angles at once. The recorder can handle an incoming bandwidth of up to 160Mbps. This value maintains smooth image transmission even when connecting a larger number of high-resolution cameras. The device connects to the network via a 1000Mbps RJ-45 ethernet port.
Video compression
The recorder uses video encoding that manages hard drive capacity efficiently. Support for H.265+ and H.265 codecs saves hard drive space and network bandwidth. The system records in high resolution, while the files take up less data. The older H.264 and H.264+ formats remain fully functional to maintain compatibility with older camera models.
High 4K resolution
The HDMI video output supports resolutions up to 4096×2160 pixels for display on compatible screens. For older monitors, a classic VGA port with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels is available. The recorder can decode one channel at 8MP or four channels at 1080p. This output displays the details needed to identify people or vehicles.
Event detection
The recorder uses detection features to recognise situations in the monitored area. Integrated algorithms identify movement, intrusion or the presence of vehicles. If the video signal is lost or the camera is obstructed, the system immediately triggers the set alarm and sends a notification. These features make property surveillance more effective and shorten the response time in the event of an incident.
