Hitchhiker II

This second part continues Laura's story from the book 'Hitchhiker', where she came into a large sum of money at the end of the first part. However, at the beginning of this new story, she loses it all due to an ill-considered decision and returns to her dangerous livelihood – hitchhiking, seducing men, and subsequently blackmailing them. This time, however, her risky game backfires cruelly when she is kidnapped and brutally tortured in a cellar. But Laura's silent protector, Lieutenant Collins, is still watching over her, secretly following and protecting her, even though he knows his feelings for her will remain unrequited. After being rescued and spending time in hospital, Laura falls in love, only to face betrayal and despair. But even then, her dramatic fate is not over, and Laura finds herself in a very dangerous situation once again. And who is the man with the scarred face who is stalking her? Has her past caught up with her, or does she still have a chance for a new beginning?
