How does the fruit dryer work?

Depending on the size of your dryer, you can dry large quantities of fruit at once. Hot air circulates inside the dryer, making the food inside lose its moisture. The water vapour is vented out of the dryer. Food dryers include a heater, a fan for uniform airflow, and a thermostat for setting the temperature. The last one is very important, as every food requires a different temperature setting. The transparent dryer surface provides a good overview of the drying process.
