Imou Cruiser Dual 8 Mp
Imou Cruiser Dual 8 Mp
The Imou Cruiser Dual 8Mp IP camera offers an innovative security solution for outdoor and indoor use, combining a fixed and a rotating lens for simultaneous monitoring of two different areas. This product has a total resolution of 8MP, which it divides between two separate 4MP sensors, and provides smooth video with efficient H.265 video compression. The device uses an advanced dual algorithm for person and vehicle detection, offers variable night modes with a range of up to 30m, and reliable mains power. Thanks to its robust construction, it can withstand adverse weather conditions. Monitoring two zones at the same time increases the security efficiency of the entire property without the need to install multiple separate cameras.

High-Resolution Image and Dual Optics
The Imou Cruiser Dual 8Mp camera contains two separate 1/2.8" Progressive CMOS sensors, each providing a detailed resolution of 2560×1440px at a frame rate of up to 15 FPS. Both the fixed and rotating lenses have a 3.6mm focal length with an F1.6 aperture and provide a horizontal viewing angle of 85°. Modern H.265 and H.264 compression formats significantly reduce bandwidth and storage requirements while maintaining high image quality. Users also have an 8× digital zoom, which zooms in on more distant objects in the monitored shot in detail.
Flexible Night Vision for Every Situation
The device offers four different modes for monitoring in low-light conditions with a range of up to 30m. Infrared mode provides a clear black and white image, while integrated LED spotlights allow for full-colour display at night. Smart mode automatically activates the colour lights upon detecting suspicious movement, which saves energy and also serves as a warning. If necessary, the user can turn off all night lighting completely, leaving the camera in an inconspicuous passive mode.
Smart Detection with the IMOU SENSE Algorithm
At the heart of the analytical functions is the proprietary IMOU SENSE algorithm, which processes data for each lens independently and increases incident evaluation accuracy by up to 50%. The artificial intelligence reliably recognises human figures at a distance of 22m and cars up to 44m, thereby eliminating false alarms caused by insects or moving branches. Users can define virtual boundaries for perimeter protection or set their own active detection zones. When the area is breached, the camera immediately triggers a built-in 110dB siren and activates a warning light.
Two-Way Audio and Active Deterrence
The Imou Cruiser Dual 8Mp IP camera integrates a sensitive microphone and a powerful speaker with an advanced echo cancellation feature. This technical solution enables clear, real-time two-way communication with people at the entrance, regardless of the user's distance. The sound system is not only for calls but also serves as a loud acoustic alarm to deter unwanted visitors. Users can also record their own customised warning sound to the memory.
Efficient Recording Storage and AOR Mode
The user can store recordings locally on a microSD memory card with a capacity of up to 256GB, or use the manufacturer's cloud service. To save space on the card, there is an innovative AOR mode, which records at full frame rate only when an event is detected. At other times, the camera records only one frame per second, which significantly extends the continuous data storage time on the inserted media without the need for frequent overwriting of old files.
Connectivity and Application
Stable network connectivity is provided by an integrated Wi-Fi 6 module in the 2.4GHz band with improved signal penetration through walls, or a classic 100Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet port. The device is managed via the Imou App mobile application for iOS and Android operating systems. Thanks to the support for the universal ONVIF protocol, compatibility with network recorders and storage systems from other manufacturers is ensured.
