Professional espresso preparation
The quality of an espresso starts with the correct preparation of the coffee in the portafilter. This distributor uses the WDT (Weiss Distribution Technique) method, which is key to achieving consistent extraction. Fine stainless steel needles effectively break up any lumps and clumps in the ground coffee and distribute it evenly over the entire surface of the filter. This prevents the formation of channels through which water would flow faster, ensuring that the entire dose of coffee is extracted evenly. The solid metal body gives the tool the necessary stability and balance for precise and comfortable handling.
