Kingston 32GB DDR4 2133MHz ECC Registered
The next-generation DDR4 memory by Kingston is designed for high-performance work systems and servers. It supports the ECC Registered technology. ECC checks transparently and in real time the integrity of data stored in the module. It is able to find and fix a bug in one bit and detect an error in two bits. Some memory controllers are able to work with the ECC memory to fix errors on a larger scale. Most server boards require memory with ECC support.
Registered memory modules are equipped with a controller that controls access to individual memory modules and facilitates the work and memory controller on the motherboard or processor. Outwardly it behaves as a single module that takes care of the writing and reading of individual memory cells and transmits the outcome of these operations to the controller. This increases the efficiency of memory access and processing speed even when using multiple memory modules simultaneously. Some server boards require registered memory.
