Whether you need sound for a recording studio, office or living room, the versatile features of the MACKIE CR3.5 speakers allow you to customise your listening experience. Turning it to the right adds attractive bass and sparkling highs for a more intense musical experience and Hi-Fi sound.
Listen Up Close and from a Distance
The second potentiometer on the MACKIE CR3.5 speakers is used for volume control, and the switch between Desktop/Bookshelf modes on the back affects the internal optimisation for near-field or far-field listening. For quiet nights, or when you don't want to be disturbed by your surroundings, you can use the headphone output.
Wide Connectivity Options
The MACKIE CR3.5 speakers are always sold in pairs, with one of the monitors serving as the master, containing the controls and the amplifier, and the other connected with the speaker cable included in the package. The monitors feature balanced TRS inputs, unbalanced RCA inputs, and a stereo input for quick connection to a phone or laptop.
System Type
An active speaker is one that has a built-in amplifier, and to listen, you just need to connect it to a sound source, either wired or wirelessly.Passive speakers are more often referred to as speaker systems. They are designed more for high-quality, loud and dynamic listening in the comfort of your home and are not suitable for frequent transport. The main advantage of passive speakers is the ability to connect a variety of sources through a separate amplifier.
Number of Channels
The number of channels in speaker systems and home cinemas indicates the number of independent audio signals (speakers) and subwoofers, most often in the X.Y format (e.g., 2.0, 5.1). It indicates how many audio tracks are reproduced simultaneously, which determines the spatial experience and bass depth of the system, from basic stereo sound (2.0) to surround sound (5.1 and above).Specifications
