Wi-Fi connectivity
The system operates on two bands, ensuring optimal distribution of network traffic. With support for 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ax standards, it ensures full compatibility with both older and more modern devices. MU-MIMO and Explicit Beamforming technologies efficiently direct the signal straight to connected devices. Speeds on the 2.4GHz frequency reach up to 600Mbps, while the 5GHz frequency achieves up to 1200Mbps.
Reliable mesh network
The basic setup, consisting of one router and one satellite, can reliably cover an area of up to 372m². If you need to extend the signal to a larger space, you can add up to three more satellites to the system, giving you a total coverage area of up to 929m². All units work together under a single network name, which enables seamless roaming and automatically switches your mobile devices to the stronger source without any interruption to your connection.
Advanced security
Protecting both business and private data is the top priority for this device. It supports modern security protocols and lets you create up to four separate SSIDs to securely segregate network traffic for employees, guests, or IoT devices. The system supports advanced encryption for complete protection against unauthorised access – WPA, WPA2-PSK and WPA-Enterprise encryption, support for the modern WPA3-PSK standard, client isolation within SSIDs and Captive Portal Challenge for guests, and support for wireless and wired VLANs.
Ports on the Netgear SXK30 WiFi system
The device includes a rich set of physical ports that facilitate stable wired connections for printers, computers, or gaming consoles. The router is equipped with one WAN port and three LAN ports, while the satellite offers an additional four LAN ports. All ethernet ports support gigabit speeds for rapid transfer of large files: one WAN port at 1Gbit speed, three LAN ports at 1Gbit speed on the router, and four gigabit LAN ports on the satellite.
