The Nice battery-powered water leak detector is designed for the rapid detection of water and for measuring ambient temperature in domestic installations. The device uses three integrated metal electrodes on its underside, and contact with liquid on any two of them is enough to trigger the alarm. This Nice water leak sensor sends instant warning signals via a wireless network while also activating a built-in sound emitter.

Power supply
The device can be powered by a standard CR123A battery or an external 12 to 24V DC power source. The integrated Z-Wave 500 series wireless chip delivers low energy consumption and a longer signal range of up to 50 metres in open spaces and up to 40 metres indoors.
Flood resistance and acoustic signal
The detector's body has a protection rating that ensures it is unsinkable, allowing it to float freely on the water's surface. If the flood detector is not fixed firmly to the ground, it will stay on the surface during a flood. This helps the acoustic alarm to spread throughout the surrounding area.
Integrated sensors and connection options
The hardware includes a built-in temperature sensor for monitoring floor temperature and a tilt sensor that registers unwanted tampering. There are also two independent inputs for third-party sensors and two NC outputs for connecting to a wired or radio security system.
