The Nice battery thermostatic head regulates and remotely controls the room temperature within a range of 1°C to 40°C. It automatically adjusts the level of heat supplied based on its integrated temperature sensor, which is accurate to within 0.5°C. Wireless communication uses the Z-Wave protocol with a 500 series chip or Bluetooth. The wireless transmission operates on the 868–868.6MHz and 869.7–870MHz frequency bands for the Z-Wave network, while Bluetooth uses the 2402–2480MHz band. Users can set their desired values manually by turning the spherical knob or via the mobile app.

Controls
The head uses an integrated colour LED ring to display its current status. This element visually indicates the set temperature using a wide range of colours, which corresponds to the display in the control unit's interface. The colourful LED ring instantly signals the heat level directly on the body of the device. This gives users immediate feedback without needing to check the mobile app. The device's design falls under Protection Class III against electric shock.
Temperature regulation and installation
The Heat-Control thermostatic head provides convenient temperature regulation and can be easily mounted on a radiator without any tools. The device can be fitted to three types of thermostatic valves, and it continuously measures the temperature, automatically adjusting the heating level based on the readings. You can also create schedules via the app to easily manage the temperature throughout the week. The device's operating temperature ranges from 0 to 40°C, while its standby storage temperature is -10 to 25°C.
Power, advanced features and security
Power is supplied by an integrated, non-user-replaceable lithium-polymer battery. It charges via a built-in micro-USB port that supports a 5V input voltage. The battery requires a low charging current of 0.5A. The device supports the creation of weekly and daily temperature schedules for automatic climate adjustment. Protective features include automatic calibration, anti-freeze protection, and a descaling system. The wireless transmission uses S0 with AES-128 and S2 network security. These protocols protect the network from unauthorised access.
