The Noctua NF-A4x20 5V fan measures 40×20mm and reaches a maximum noise level of just 14.9dB at 5000 RPM. It is designed exclusively for 5V applications. At twice the thickness of standard 40×10mm fans, it delivers higher static pressure, making it suitable for devices with high airflow resistance. The Flow Acceleration Channels optimise airflow while minimising noise. The package includes an OmniJoin™ adapter set for compatibility with proprietary connectors and an integrated diode for polarity protection.

Advanced aerodynamics and construction
The fan is twice as thick as the NF-A4x10 model, providing higher static pressure for demanding applications with high resistance. The blades feature Flow Acceleration Channels, which accelerate the airflow on the suction side. The frame, with its Stepped Inlet Design, improves suction and reduces intake noise, especially in confined spaces.
SSO2 bearing and protective features
The SSO2 bearing features a magnet placed closer to the axis, ensuring better stability, precision, and a long lifespan. Smooth Commutation Drive technology guarantees the fan runs smoothly. Soft silicone anti-vibration pads minimise vibrations, and a built-in diode protects against reverse polarity when used with proprietary connectors.
