The Peak Design Outdoor Sling camera bag is designed for carrying camera equipment and personal belongings during outdoor activities. The bag can be used on its own or as an expansion module for larger backpacks. Once the strap is removed, you can attach it to the chest area of a Peak Design outdoor backpack. This is done using Gear Loops, which are sold separately and are not included in the package. This attachment method speeds up access to your camera or other stored gear while you're on the move. The construction uses recycled Terra Shell nylon with a water-resistant finish and is free from harmful PFAS compounds. The 4L interior is complemented by flexible mesh pockets for organising small accessories. The product functions as a standalone bag or as an expansion module for larger backpacks, with the total weight of the empty product being 185g.

Versatile Carrying Options
The adjustable, padded strap makes it easy to adapt the bag for different carrying styles—on the shoulder, at the waist, or across the back. Quick detachment and rotation of the strap are facilitated by the nylon Cord Hook Cam Lock fastener with glass-fibre-reinforced hardware. The low-profile nylon buckle allows for easy one-handed operation. The custom-designed hardware allows the strap to be quickly detached and then attached to other bags.
Internal Organisation and Secure Phone Storage
The 4L main compartment can hold small equipment and personal items. The interior contains two flexible mesh pockets for small items, made from a blend of nylon and UHMWPE material. In total, the bag offers five pockets for storing your belongings. This model with a three-pocket internal layout is not compatible with Camera Cube inserts, which require the larger 7L version. On the back panel, there is a padded pocket with a quick magnetic closure. The 19cm wide space can accommodate mobile phones up to the size of an iPhone 16 Pro Max or Samsung S24+. The magnetic closure mechanism prevents your phone from accidentally falling out of the pocket during active movement. Due to the narrower opening, the phone is inserted at an angle, which prevents it from slipping out.
Weather Resistance, Eco-Certification, and Materials
The manufacturer uses 100% Bluesign certified recycled nylon, which comes from post-industrial waste. The nylon straps are also Bluesign certified, and the back panel is made of breathable nylon mesh. The product has earned the Fair Trade and Climate Label certifications for responsible and environmentally conscious production. The outer Terra Shell 210D ripstop material protects the stored contents from rain and moisture. A PFAS-free hydrophobic coating and an internal polyurethane coating with a 1500mm water column prevent water from penetrating. The bag features UltraZips with high resistance to wear and adverse weather conditions. The size 5 zips use highly durable threads made from ultra-strong UHMWPE material to increase the bag's overall mechanical durability during demanding outdoor use.
