The QNAP TVS-h874-i7-32G NAS is designed for data storage, virtualisation, and backup in both business and demanding home environments. This tower-style network storage device offers a total of eight bays for 2.5" and 3.5" hard drives or SSDs, plus two slots for high-speed M.2 NVMe drives. This server runs the QuTS hero operating system, which features an advanced 128-bit ZFS file system to maintain data integrity and protect against silent data corruption. Files are transferred over the network via two integrated 2.5Gb/s network ports.

Intel Core i7 processor performance
At the heart of the device is a twelve-core Intel Core i7 processor with a frequency of 4.4GHz, combining 8 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores to effectively process a total of 20 threads. This Intel Core i7 NAS handles demanding operations on a corporate network, also thanks to the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770. Users can expand the RAM up to 65536MB for the smooth running of demanding applications. Intel AES-NI hardware encryption protects sensitive data without reducing transfer speeds.
ZFS file system
The ZFS NAS is built on an advanced 128-bit file system that focuses on high security and integrity. This system automatically finds and corrects data errors, thereby preventing silent data corruption. Inline data deduplication and compression technologies reduce overall storage requirements when running multiple virtual machines from the same template. Network administrators will also benefit from support for an almost unlimited number of snapshots.

The system uses artificial intelligence for facial and object recognition in the QuMagie application, with support for Google Edge TPU accelerators. In this way, fast drives shorten the response time of database queries and speed up work with metadata.
Backup and recovery tools
This NAS for businesses unifies backup to both local and cloud storage using an application. Block-level snapshots capture the system's state at a specific time and help counter ransomware threats. The SnapSync feature synchronises data in real time between two QNAP devices. Disaster recovery thus occurs with minimal time loss. This server also supports the operation of virtual machines and the Container Station tool for easy deployment of microservices. Users can run multiple isolated applications on a single piece of physical hardware.
