Grinding is carried out in several stages using five interchangeable grinding wheels - from the rough grinding to the final polishing. The rotary grinding method ensures smooth and even contact with the blade, and thanks to the non-slip underside, the sharpener remains perfectly stable during work.
And how does the rotary grinder work?
The Siguro Roll Sharp consists of two parts - a magnetic base and a rotating body. In the first step, you set the desired grinding angle with the rotary dial and attach the blade to the magnetic base. After that, just attach the grinding wheel to the other part of the grinder and pull it in a smooth and even motion along the blade. Each side of the base is marked with a graphic symbol of the recommended blade size for knives with a blade width of 15-35 mm or greater than 35 mm.

Thanks to the adjustable grinding angle in the range of 10-25°, the Siguro Roll Sharp can be adapted to the specific type of knife. The lower angle of around 10-15° is ideal for Japanese knives with very thin blades, which require an extremely fine and precise edge. The middle area of 15-18° is suitable for all-purpose kitchen knives, while the angle of around 20-25° is suitable for western knives, sturdier chef's blades, outdoor knives or knives for chopping. The angle adjustability allows you to achieve optimal results with a wide range of blades and get exactly the blade you want.
