The pre-installed firmware with the EmberZNet protocol stack allows you to add multiple Zigbee devices and also acts as a Zigbee router, strengthening the connection and ensuring the stability of the entire network. In addition, the unit supports the OpenThread protocol and, in conjunction with the Thread Border Router, enables control of Matter devices. By integrating Zigbee and OpenThread in one device, you can manage both Zigbee and Thread devices simultaneously, building a unified and reliable smart home ecosystem.

The SONOFF Dongle Plus MG24 offers superior performance and quality thanks to the powerful EFR32MG24 chip with 1536 kB Flash and 256 kB RAM, which provides faster automation processing and smoother control of connected devices. The improved antenna provides a gain of 3 dBi, and up to 4.5 dBi at optimal settings, which means range of up to 200 meters in an open area. Protection is provided by a compact and lightweight aluminium alloy case. The package also includes a 1m USB extension cable, which allows you to place the adapter away from sources of interference and thus ensure an even more stable signal.
The SONOFF Dongle Plus MG24 can withstand even the toughest conditions
The SONOFF central unit has undergone rigorous laboratory testing to ensure long life and reliability in demanding conditions. The unit withstood a 24-hour salt fog test as well as stress tests at high and low temperatures. Thanks to repeated firmware flash, it remains stable after more than 100 cycles, and works just as reliably after more than 500 plugs and unpluggings from the USB port. The electrostatic discharge resistance test confirmed trouble-free operation even after 20 discharges.
