Lead and pigment properties
The core of the Polycolour pencils is made of strong pigments that leave a rich, uniform colourful mark on paper. The lead is hard and break-resistant, which you will appreciate when sharpening and drawing details. Your drawings will retain their colours for a long time and will not fade when exposed to light, as the pencils contain a high concentration of lightfast pigments. In addition, the drawing can be easily layered and blended to achieve subtle colour transitions and shading.
