Protection against excessive vibration
WD Red Pro hard drives have rotational vibration (RV) sensors that estimate and proactively counteract interference caused by increased vibration. By counteracting the increased vibrations in the drive chassis, it minimises shocks, maintains performance and protects the drives. Western Digital works with a wide range of NAS system vendors to conduct extensive testing to ensure compatibility with most NAS storage enclosures.
