Withings Scanwatch Nova Brilliant 39mm - Titanium Silver

Withings Scanwatch Nova Brilliant 39mm - Titanium Silver
The Withings Scanwatch Nova Brilliant smartwatch provides a more detailed overview of your health and personalised recommendations to help you better understand and look after your health at every stage of life. With its irregular heart rhythm notifications, it passively monitors for signs of atrial fibrillation (AFib) right from your wrist. A readiness score based on heart rate variability (HRV) assesses your daily condition and offers personalised recommendations on when it's time to push yourself and when to let your body rest. Tracking changes in body temperature can reveal subtle signals, from the possible onset of an illness to changes caused by being at a higher altitude. Improved activity and sleep tracking delivers greater measurement accuracy and brand-new REM phase tracking, giving you a more detailed overview of your recovery and athletic performance.

Women's health and up to 35 days of battery life
Get an overview of your menstrual cycle while you sleep. Night-time body temperature tracking helps estimate the phases of your menstrual cycle, including irregular cycles, and makes it easier to understand how hormonal changes affect sleep, stress and overall well-being. Enjoy maximum freedom with the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant watch and its extraordinary battery life of up to 35 days. The long battery life ensures worry-free use without unnecessary interruptions.
On-demand ECG and atrial fibrillation (AFib) detection
The ScanWatch Nova Brilliant watch lets you record a clinically validated ECG and detect signs of atrial fibrillation. The measurement results can be easily shared with your doctor via the Withings app, which facilitates long-term monitoring of your heart health. If the watch detects an irregular heart rhythm, it sends a notification and the app prompts you to take an ECG. In some cases, the recording may not be conclusive (for example, if your heart rate is too high or too low), but it can still provide your doctor with important information for diagnosing atrial fibrillation. You can view and share your ECG results at any time directly in the Withings app.
High and low resting heart rate notifications
The ScanWatch Nova Brilliant watch measures heart rate and rhythm using a multi-wavelength PPG sensor, which uses light to analyse changes in blood flow in the wrist's blood vessels. By default, the watch automatically takes measurements at regular intervals when you are at rest or walking. The measured values are continuously synchronised with the Withings app, where you can view them at any time. If you are at rest for at least 10 minutes and the watch detects a resting heart rate that is higher than your usual value, it will send you a notification. It will also alert you to a heart rate that is too low. The high and low heart rate thresholds can be easily adjusted directly in the Withings app, and you can turn this feature on or off at any time.
Blood oxygen (SpO₂) measurement
SpO₂ (peripheral oxygen saturation) is an estimate of the amount of oxygen in your blood. Specifically, it is the percentage of oxygenated haemoglobin relative to the total amount of haemoglobin in the blood. Along with heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure and body temperature, it is one of the basic indicators of health. The ScanWatch Nova Brilliant watch measures SpO₂ using pulse oximetry, a non-invasive method that uses light to analyse blood flow in the wrist's blood vessels. The multi-wavelength PPG sensor emits red and infrared light and evaluates its reflection from the blood vessels. Based on the different absorption of light by oxygenated and deoxygenated blood, the algorithm accurately calculates the SpO₂ value.
Day and night body temperature tracking
For the first time, a smartwatch offers continuous tracking of body temperature changes during the day and night. Deviations can indicate the onset of an illness or other changes in your health, while also helping you to better manage your training, recovery and overall physical performance. The TempTech24/7 technology combines a miniaturised heat flux sensor with a temperature sensor, and also uses data from the heart rate sensor and accelerometer. This provides an accurate and reliable assessment of body temperature changes.
Temperature zones during exercise
The ScanWatch Nova Brilliant helps you optimise your sports performance thanks to its temperature zones feature. Monitor changes in your body temperature during training and use this information for more effective exercise and safer recovery.
Warm-up zone – the lowest temperature zone, ideal for warming up before you start your workout. Gradually increasing your body temperature prepares your muscles for optimal performance.
Performance zone – the recommended zone where you should spend most of your workout. It provides the ideal conditions for effective exercise and achieving better results.
Overheating zone – this zone should be avoided. Overheating can cause muscle cramps, nausea, headaches, dizziness, confusion, or even loss of consciousness.
If the watch detects that your body temperature has entered the overheating zone, it will recommend slowing down your physical activity and letting your body temperature return to a safer level, ideally the performance zone or your normal body temperature.
Activity tracking
The ScanWatch Nova Brilliant automatically tracks daily activities and more demanding sports training. Thanks to smart activity detection and connected GPS, you get accurate data about your movement. You can check your daily step progress at any time on the analogue sub-dial. Precise measurement is ensured by a three-axis accelerometer, enhanced by algorithms perfected over more than a decade. Whether you're swimming, cycling, or running, the watch automatically recognises the activity and logs it in the Withings app. You don't have to start anything manually – every movement counts. After pairing with your phone, you can track your route, distance covered, elevation, and workout progress on a map. You can choose from over 40 sports modes directly on your wrist. During exercise, the watch continuously records the duration of the activity, your heart rate, and your movement.
Advanced 24/7 health tracking
Thanks to advanced sleep tracking, you can better understand the quality of your rest and receive recommendations to help you improve your sleep habits. The technology uses proprietary algorithms developed in collaboration with sleep laboratories and validated by polysomnography, which is considered the gold standard of sleep analysis. The watch records light and deep sleep, sleep duration, awakenings during the night, and the times you fall asleep and wake up. All data is stored in the Withings app, where you can track your sleep habits over the long term. A special algorithm evaluates your sleep quality based on sleep stages, duration, regularity, and the number of awakenings.
Nightly breathing tracking
The Respiratory Scan feature can detect breathing disturbances during sleep while also analysing continuous blood oxygen (SpO₂) levels, heart rate, movement, and breathing rate. The watch regularly measures your heart rate during the night, giving you an overview of your average heart rate while you sleep. The watch recognises whether you are in a light or deep sleep phase and, within a set time window, wakes you up with gentle vibrations at the most suitable moment.
Simple and smart to use
Get clear statistics, personalised recommendations, and other useful information directly on your iOS or Android device. The watch comes with a metal five-link strap and a fluoroelastomer sports strap. Thanks to the easy-to-change straps, you can customise the look of your watch to suit your style. The stainless steel crown lets you comfortably control the watch and easily navigate through its various functions. The watch vibrates and displays a preview of incoming notifications from selected apps on your smartphone.
