Cardioid directional characteristic allows detailed sound capture optimized for voice applications. The RODE XCM-50 boasts integrated digital signal processing (DSP),so you can add advanced APHEX audio processing with a compressor, noise gate, high-pass filter, and Exciter and Big Bottom effects.
Condenser microphone with great equipment
Connection to a computer is provided by USB-C with 24 bit/48 kHz A/D conversion. Installation is plug and play, so no special drivers need to be installed. The RODE XCM-50 also features a headphone output with volume level control and a mute button. Also included is a Pop Filter, an integrated 360° swivel mount to absorb shock and mechanical vibration, a tripod for flexible placement and an extension headphone cable.

It combines several applications and allows independent routing and mixing of up to four USB microphones or other devices and up to six virtual audio sources in one single interface.
