AMD is coming up with the new generation of desktop processors under the FX Series and instead of Bulldozer, they will offer the new Piledriver. Even the AMD FX-8300 expect higher performance and certainly lower power consumption. Like other FX series processors, this one is designed for the popular AM3 + socket , with a silicon square as in cotton.
Turbo Core or fully utilized power of 8 cores
AMD FX-8300 processor cores are made with a modern 32nm manufacturing process that has improved processing efficiency, increased performance, and reduced heat emission. The processor is also equipped with a second-generation Turbo CORE technology that delivers a maximum of 4.2 GHz on a wide range of applications.
Intelligent frequency switching
Unless all CPU kernels are used, the working frequency is automatically increased , and thus excellent performance is achieved even for applications that do not use the full computational potential. In addition, the AMD FX-8300 features a pair of turbo frequencies that can be switched to always fit within the set TDP.
