The optimised firmware delivers up to 36% faster sequential read speeds compared to standard drives in the same class. Faster RAID array repairs reduce the time needed to rebuild data after a potential drive replacement. In addition, its special Helium Sealed-Drive Design reduces internal friction and power consumption. The drive operates at temperatures from 5 to 60°C.
